I’m in my sixth year of an English PhD program at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. My research interests include British Romanticism and the Caribbean in the eighteenth-nineteenth centuries, the Gothic in all its incarnations, horror and science fiction studies, and digital humanities / transformative technologies. I was part of the editorial team that published An Island in the Moon, Blake’s satirical send-up of his circle of friends and late eighteenth-century British culture (read more here). My current project is a transcription of Poetical Sketches. I received a NINES fellowship to attend the Digital Humanities Summer Institute in Victoria, Canada (June 4-8). I’ll be participating in the course on Multimedia Design for Visual, Auditory, and Interactive Environments. I’m looking forward to blogging from Victoria!
You can check out my other (cooking, travel) blog at http://rochesterbreadandcircuses.wordpress.com/. I’m working on updating it more frequently!

Hi Justine,
just a suggestion, how about a feature on Songs of Innocence and of Experience. It is arguable that they were born as songs before they were even written down. How much is known about the musical dimension of this fore-runner of the multimedia age.
Please enjoy my personal contribution to this theme in musical form: music.victorvertunni.com
